what does this think it is, cowboy bebop? I’ve tried to get into Gundam but found the canon pretty difficult to follow. Currently going through Gundam Seed and enjoying it though.

Oh my, I’m sorry to say but compared to some of the other Gundams SEED is one of the worst ones on story, Gundam Action, and follow up season. Personally I would recommend Iron Blooded Orphans, Gundam Re 0096, Mobile Suite Gundam (The original). But that’s just me.

Yeah, it’s not the greatest thing I’ve ever watched. Mostly chose it because of a Gundam mod for Homeworld that used it
